Our first stop!

Here we are at Beningborough Hall, enjoying the sunshine in the kitchen garden, with the chief laundry maid. Off to try Victorian laundry day! Soon off to Sneaton Castle in Whitby.

  1. Glad to hear that you have all had a great first day and that you have arrived safely. Make sure that you let the staff get a good night's sleep. The top floor of Melbourne is very quiet without you!

Hope you managed to get some sleep last night?! It looks like you've got a lovely, busy day planned for today-rock pooling on the beach later (maybe ice creams if you're lucky). Have fun!

  6. Hello Eleanor
Glad to see you arrived safely and are having a good time. Hope you have a lovely day today and haven't spent all your money already! Don't forget to count the steps today at the Abbey and don't behave like your dad did when he went on his school trip to Whitby !
Lots of love, Mum and Dad. xx

    Hello Eva
Well it's been another sunny day - what amazing weather - a pocket of summer early. I hope you are having fun with your friends and managing to get some sleep amongst the excitement! I see you are shopping this afternoon... I wonder if your case is big enough for the big, shiny and expensive present you're going to buy me?.... No just joking... I know the change I emptied from my purse into yours on Wednesday morning won't go far. Hope you're having a wonderful time. Love Mum, Dad, Rory and Dizzy xxxxx
