Day 1 – Wednesday 20 March

08:00 Meet outside Botanical Gardens on Clarkehouse Road

08:15 Depart

10.00 Arrive at Beningbrough Hall, York

10.30 Activities at Beningbrough Hall: Below Stairs/Art Workshop

15.00 Depart Beningbrough Hall

16.45 Arrive Sneaton Castle, Whitby

17.30 Supper and evening activities; Games Evening

21:00 Story time/getting ready for bed

22.00 Lights out

Day 2 – Thursday 21 March

08:00 Breakfast

09:00 Travel into Whitby to see the Abbey; walk down the 199 steps into the town; carry out visitor survey; walk along the pier, shopping

12:00 Visit Robin Hood’s Bay Old Coastguard Centre – picnic lunch followed by rock pool rummage, the Village Trail and interactive exhibitions

16:00 Return to Sneaton Castle

18:00 Supper and Whitby Storyteller

Day 3 – Friday 22nd March

08:00 Breakfast and packing –send postcards

10.00 Visit Pannett Park Museum in Whitby

12:00 Picnic lunch

13:00 Leave for Sheffield

16:30 Arrive back at Botanical Gardens
